Worship in Wallingford
Our Wallingford Expression offers free neighborhood street parking (the streets are very walkable so parking even a couple blocks away on neighborhood streets or on Wallingford Ave. is no problem). Please be respectful of our neighbors and avoid intruding on driveways. If you need to drop-off of someone with limited mobility, we have a small driveway and ADA-friendly lobby door on the northside.
We provide gospel-saturated, spiritually-nurturing, and relationally-driven Kids Ministry each and every week!
Since the pandemic, we have been providing Kids Bags to help families worship together in the worship gathering. We have also re-opened our Babies-3-year-olds Group Room and Pre-K-2nd Grade teaching time on Sundays!
Nursing mothers can also find a bit of privacy and still continue to worship using the worship gathering feed on a monitor in the Nursery downstairs.
You can check your children into Hallows Kids at the kiosk located in the foyer by the front doors. We will be there to greet you with a warm smile, a helpful hand, and an eagerness to answer any questions you might have!
If you have a 10-15 year old, they’re invited to our All-Hallows Church Friday Night Youth Fellowship! Once a month, we provide a safe, fun and gospel-encouraging time of fellowship and community-building for youth at our Hallows Church Wallingford Expression. From crazy games, good food, and a specialized teaching time, our desire is for the youth of our city build stronger relationships with other Christian peers and mentors and see how Jesus makes a difference in all of life–including how they can support and encourage one another!
We like to keep the party going! Weekly until otherwise announced, we are enjoying a potluck lunch after the worship gathering. We love making room for anyone who’d like to join to not worry about lunch plans, and get to know others in the community.
In nicer weather, it is not uncommon for participants to set up volleyball, other activities, or go grab a meal together after the worship gathering. (Gas Works Park, numerous restaurants and two additional playfields and playgrounds are within walking distance!!)
Additionally we often have at least one of our Hallows Missional Communities (small groups) meeting directly after the worship gathering.
Discovering the difference Jesus makes in all of life extends beyond Sundays. Please explore other available avenues to do so!
Update: With state and county’s updated health mandates, we no longer require mask-wearing as of March 12, 2022.
As mask-wearing is not a central tenant to the gospel, we encourage all participants to err on the side of grace–to give and receive grace from one another as a variety of approaches may be represented in a diverse body like ours that ultimately unites around the gospel and the gospel alone. So, if there are those who prefer to wear masks for any reason, okay! If there are those who prefer to worship without masks going forward, okay! May we keep our eyes on Jesus as we seek to love God completely and love our neighbor compassionately.
