Hallows Kids

2 months old to 6th grade

Jesus loves kids and so do we! We serve kids and their caretakers by helping them discover the difference Jesus makes in all of life.

Our approach

Gospel-Saturated

We believe building a strong foundation begins with saturating the gospel in every moment we spend with your kids. From singing with their families in the service, to hearing lessons in age-appropriate classrooms, we saturate each and every moment in Hallows Kids with gospel truths.

Spiritually-Nurturing

We love to nurture young disciples in their faith. Thoughtfully planned lessons, safe and clean classrooms and a mindful kids ministry team—we believe these elements provide an environment of spiritual formation and personal faith.

Relationally-Driven

We believe parents and caregivers are the primary faith influencers in a child’s life. They make the most impact on a child’s spiritual formation. But the church has been given the amazing opportunity to partner with parents in making disciples.

We also believe that in order for the gospel to be central in a child’s life, it should be demonstrated through friendships. That is why our Hallows Kids emphasizes relational bonds to foster friendship within each class.

Curriculum

Hallows Kids rooms are grouped by age to ensure children have fun, feel safe and are engaged with age-appropriate activities and teaching. We use a combination of Gospel Project curriculum and New City Catechism to creatively engage preschool through elementary-aged children and to empower parents with additional take-home resources.

Resources & discipleship opportunities

Kids Activity Packets

We know preschoolers-elementary aged kids can benefit from additional stimulus while worshipping with their peers and adults in worship gatherings. Each of our worship gatherings provide activity packets for kids if they are not participating in the Sunday Kids Ministry groups available at this time (0-3 at each location and 0-7 at our Edmonds Expression).

Friday Night Youth Fellowships

Part of our vision for discipling the next generation is to help the youth in The Hallows feel more connected to one another and church mentors. We believe when they do, they can go out during the week in their schools and neighborhoods with a strong foundation in Christ, better understanding and application of the Bible, and encouragement from gospel-centered friendships. So check out our Church Center calendar to get the details about the next monthly Friday Night Youth Fellowship.
