Resident Counselor
Courtney is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate at Water’s Edge Christian Counseling. She practices an integrated approach of psychological clinical counseling with Biblical counseling. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a baccalaureate in Psychology, then achieved a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She works with clients who struggle with spiritual issues, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, dissociative disorders, anger management, abandonment issues, abuse, childhood trauma, relationship issues, marriage prep, marriage issues, divorce issues, family management, and parenting. She is currently supervised by Joan Willemain, LICSW to complete her Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate requirements.
