Every year, on Mothers Day our church comes together to celebrate families as parents dedicate their children to Lord. This year, the Bangs, the Smiths, and the Vennemans dedicated their children at the Fremont expression!
A child dedication is a couple announcing their commitment to raise their child under the authority of Christ and lead them in the Gospel as best they can. The church responds by committing the body of believers to that couple and the child, making it clear that the church supports the efforts of the parents and will do their best to lead the child to Christ. It was a joy to see these parents make this commitment and see the church respond. This year, each family felt stirred in their heart to read a Psalm to their little one! Thank you to Pastor Andrew, for praying for each of the families; and thank you church for loving these families on this special day!
