Rather than gathering to worship at our regularly scheduled time and place, we are going to scatter to serve the city of Seattle. Please use the amount of time that you would normally gather with us to scatter with us.
We will be sending two groups to the Union Gospel Mission to serve either lunch (11:00 am to 1:30 pm) or dinner (4:30 pm to 7 pm). If you would like to join one of these groups please email wes@hallowschurch.org.
If you are unable to join one of these two groups, here are a few alternative ideas for how you and your friends can scatter to serve on that day: be an unexpected blessing by eating out and paying for a stranger’s meal or leave a larger than normal tip, clean out your closet and give warm clothes to someone in need, or buy a coat and/or an umbrella for someone in need.
In any case, we ask that you scatter with us to serve people in the city of Seattle on Sunday, December 30!
